Recipients are notified by email whenever a gift card is purchased through their InKind Page (whether through the Wishlist or Care Calendar). This email includes the name of the Supporter who sent the gift (unless they selected the option to remain anonymous), any personal message the Supporter included at the time of purchase, and instructions for how to access the gift card in their InKind Wallet.
When a Supporter signs up to provide in-person or delivery support through the Care Calendar, only Page Organizers are notified. To include the Recipient in notifications of all support rather than just gift cards, you can add the Recipient as an additional Page Organizer.
