When you want to schedule multiple dates for support

When you need to create a calendar item to request a specific kind of help (meal delivery, babysitting, errand running), you may need to ask for that support to take place on multiple dates on a regular schedule. The Give InKind Care Calendar can be used to set recurring dates for any event you create.

When you create your calendar, click ADD ITEM to create a new event.

In the ADD ITEM window, click the arrow next to the field that says DOES NOT REPEAT. A menu will display a list of options for the frequency for your event.
Select the frequency you need from Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or select CUSTOM to create the frequency you need.

Each option will allow you to set up the schedule you need:
Daily - Will ask you to enter the date that the support need will end
Weekly - Will default to the day of the week on which your event begins and you will enter the date that your support need will end.
Monthly - Will ask you to enter the date that the monthly support need will end
Custom - Will allow you to select the days that support is needed and when it should end.

Once you have entered all of the dates you need, click SAVE. The item will be added to your calendar.

If you need to make changes to an event that has multiple dates, click on the item to open this pop-up window.

If you need to make a change to the entire event (such as an address or other information that effects every instance), click EDIT SERIES.

If you need to make a change to just one instance of the item (such as a later arrival time on one day),click EDIT INSTANCE.

The series you create will be on each date on the calendar. This will allow supporters to choose the days they want to claim.
