You have the option of allowing your recipient to receive email notifications when a gift is purchased or a Care Calendar item is claimed. To enable the emails, you will need to make them a Page organizer.

When a supporter purchases a gift, they are given the option of providing their email address so that the recipient can be notified. Give InKind respects the privacy of both recipients and supporters; if a supporter opts to remain anonymous, an email confirmation will not include their contact information.
